Great Experience

I have seen many reviews about NRG but my experience has been excellent. I was able to get my installation done quickly without any delays and communication from Justin was great. Everything went smoothly and I would highly recommend NRG.

Solar reinstall on metal roof

The solar removal and reinstall for my roofing project went smoothly thanks to Shelley. She was on top of the logistics from the start, coordinating a skilled crew that handled the transition from asphalt to a standing seam metal roof without any issues. Shelley was very flexible with the scheduling when my roofing timeline shifted due to rain and she made sure we had the right hardware ready to go. The pricing was fair for the extra labor a metal roof requires, and the city inspector was impressed with the final install. If you are doing a solar plus roof project, Shelley is the PM you want managing it.

Reroofing made easy

We had to do a roof replacement and I wanted to remove and reinstall myself. This is out of the norm. I am a licensed general contractor and the homeowner. In order to make that happen, I had to get a removal/reinstall permit. Shelley was SO helpful in making sure that the permit got issued and that it could all be handled by me directly. She followed up when she had not heard from me (I got busy) to make sure that I had everything I needed. Above and beyond. Thank you!

Going solar felt like a big decision, but NRG Clean Power made it a lot easier than I expected. I appreciated how straightforward and organized everything was throughout the process. Justin Yu stood out because he was honest, easy to talk to, and focused on helping me understand my options instead of rushing me into anything. Shelley is an absolute professional who helped me navigate the complex process of uninstalling the existing solar panels, reinstalling, and then submitting paperwork to city planning. Beyond her expertise, she was incredibly empathetic and accommodating. I was juggling the arrival of a new baby while working on this project, and Shelley was exceptionally patient with my delayed responses. Her guidance made a stressful process manageable.

Aracely Lopez did an excellent job coordinating our installation. She assigned a very professional team of technicians who completed the work efficiently and with great care. We had some scheduling restrictions due to the property being a rental, but everything was handled smoothly.

NRG Clean Power

We worked with NRG Clean Power it was a great experience. The sales process was pretty straightforward and not overly pushy, which I appreciated. There was a bit of back and forth during the permitting phase, but they handled it and kept things moving. Installation day went smoothly and the crew was quick and respectful. We have only had the system for a short time, but so far everything seems to be working as expected and our bill is starting to come down.

NRG, a Great Solar Provider

I have had an excellent experience with NRG Clean Power from start to finish. They previously installed my solar panels and two Powerwall 3 batteries, and when my solar system started producing more energy than I needed, I decided to add a third Powerwall. The entire project was seamless and stress free. Edward Rodriguez was the project manager for the third battery installation, and he was outstanding. He coordinated everything perfectly, from scheduling the crew to handling permits and the final inspection, while keeping me updated every step of the way with clear, professional communication.
